Tempe Community Council
Our Vision: Tempe Community Council nurtures Tempe's sense of community where children, seniors, families and individuals care for and about one another.
Bringing the community together to provide support to Tempeans in need, plan for present and future needs, and build a lasting foundation for future generations.
Content days look a little different when the marketing coordinator is off for the day 😅
Just a few reminders of everything happening around here lately, and don't forget to submit your nominations for the Don Carlos Awards!

On Repeat: LGBTQ+ Community Support 🎶🏳️🌈
We’re sharing our favorite Pride anthems plus spotlighting Arizona organizations turning community into action — creating safe spaces, connection, advocacy, and support for LGBTQ+ individuals to live fully and authentically.
All jokes aside, Tim is truly the opposite of annoying 😄
As the City of Tempe Director of Community Health and Human Services and interim Executive Director of Tempe Community Council, he brings leadership, kindness, and a great sense of humor to every room he walks into.
We’re grateful for a work environment that makes collaboration easy, laughter frequent, and community impact the center of it all!

Sadness and depression are common in teens, but knowing when it is more than a phase can make a real difference in a young person’s life. We’re hosting a free online session on June 8 for Tempe parents to better understand teen mental health, recognize early warning signs, and learn practical ways to support their teen if they are struggling.
Early awareness and support can change outcomes. Join us online for this free seminar. Link in bio.

Some students are trying to finish high school while facing a life-changing pregnancy, and too often, they’re doing it without enough support.
Open Horizons exists so they don’t have to. Built on care and understanding, it helps young people stay in school, feel seen, and move toward graduation and a future they can believe in.
Supporting TCC helps ensure these students don’t fall through the cracks, but are met with guidance, dignity, and real opportunity. Learn more and support at the link in our bio. 💛
