As temperatures rise, National Heat Awareness Day serves as an important reminder to recognize the signs of heat illness and look out for one another.

At IES Communications, safety is always our priority, and knowing the warning signs of heat-related illness can help prevent serious emergencies before they happen.

⚠️ Watch for symptoms such as:
- Headache, nausea, weakness, or dizziness
- Heavy sweating or hot, dry skin
- Elevated body temperature
- Thirst or decreased urine output

If someone is showing signs of heat illness:
✔ Move them to a cooler area with water, rest, and shade
✔ Provide cool drinking water
✔ Use water, ice, or fans to cool the body
✔ Seek medical attention when needed

When in doubt, always seek professional help by calling 911.

Last week, IES Communications hosted our first annual IES East Partners & Patrons Spring Golf Classic at the beautiful Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA. 🏌️‍♂️
We were thrilled to invite our customers and partners out for a day filled with golf, networking, friendly competition, and plenty of fun. With perfect weather, exciting prizes, and great company, everyone had a great time from start to finish.
A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this inaugural tournament such a memorable experience. We’re already looking forward to next year! ☀️🏆

IES is proud to congratulate Kayla Mecca on her promotion to Client Support Manager!

Kayla has been an important part of IES Communications for the past seven years, beginning her career as a PMA before transitioning into our Client Support team. Throughout her time with the organization, she has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support across our sales teams and the broader organization.

In her new role as Client Support Manager, Kayla will be driving team development, operational alignment, and process improvements to support IES’s continued growth.

We are excited to see Kayla continue to thrive within IES and look forward to her leadership and contributions in her new role.

What an incredible time at our Family Picnic and Pet Adoption event last weekend! ☀️

This event was not only about games, food, and fun; it was an opportunity to bring employees and their families together through the efforts of our Community Action Team (CAT). With friendly competition and connecting over a shared purpose, the day reflected what makes the culture at IES Communications so special.

We are proud to partner with HALO (Helping Animals Live On) Animal Rescue to support finding loving, forever homes for three puppies. 🐾

IES is proud to welcome Coy Christal as the newest Regional Director of Sales for our Texas team.
Coy began his career in 1990 within structured cabling, building a strong technical foundation as a technician before advancing into Quality Assurance management.
His hands-on experience and operational expertise paved the way for continued growth across sales, distribution, and executive leadership roles—providing him with a well-rounded perspective on market dynamics and supply chain strategy.

With over 30 years of experience in sales and sales management, he has consistently driven growth through roles in account management, new business development, and regional leadership.

Coy was drawn to IES by our commitment to a strong, people-first culture and a clear focus on both employee and customer satisfaction. Experiencing the collaborative and supportive “IES family” environment firsthand reinforced his decision to join the team.
