International chalk artist turning pavement into something unforgettable. ๐ŸŽจ

Last year, we brought the Haunted Mansion to Marietta Square. ๐Ÿ‘ป This year, Mother Nature had some spooky plans of her own. โ›ˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ’”

Every year, thousands of people gather at Chalktoberfest to watch artists from around the world transform streets into extraordinary works of art. โœจ Itโ€™s a weekend full of creativity, connection, and a community that truly celebrates the arts. ๐ŸŽจ

Behind all that magic is the incredible team at Marietta Cobb Museum of Art , a small nonprofit that pours their hearts into this festival. ๐Ÿป Sadly, this yearโ€™s cancellation also means losing their biggest annual fundraiser, which supports arts education and community programs.

But even the threat of a hurricane canโ€™t wash away this amazing community! ๐ŸŒˆ

So weโ€™re flooding the internet with chalk art to show our love and support! Please consider donating to help keep this incredible tradition alive. ๐Ÿ’œ

Thereโ€™s something so satisfying about watching chalk art slowly come to life. ๐ŸŒป๐Ÿงก

Layer by layer, color by color, until suddenly someone starts looking back at you. โ˜€๏ธ

I canโ€™t begin to describe what an honor it is to pay tribute to Flight 93 through chalk. ๐Ÿ’œ Never forget. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

A meaningful tribute returns to Flight 93 National Memorial this week.

On September 9โ€“10, visitors can watch 20 artists from across the country create chalk portraits honoring the 40 passengers and crew of Flight 93 along the Flight Path Walkway at the Visitor Center Complex.

Each portrait serves as a unique, hand-crafted tribute to the heroes of Flight 93.

The completed artwork will remain on display through September 20, weather permitting. Though the portraits are temporary and will naturally fade over time, they offer a powerful opportunity to reflect on the lives, courage, and legacy of the 40.

๐Ÿ“ Live Chalk Portrait Event: September 9โ€“10 | 9 a.m.โ€“5 p.m.
๐Ÿ“ Chalk Portrait Display: September 11โ€“20 | 9 a.m.โ€“5 p.m.

Our first Utah Chalk Art Festival is officially in the books, and my heart is so full. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿฅน

The Gateway is the very place where I was first inspired to become a chalk artist, so getting to bring a festival back here all these years later felt magical. โœจ๐ŸŽจ

To the incredible artists who filled the pavement with color, our amazing team who worked so hard to bring everything together, The Blocks for sponsoring and believing in our vision, and everyone who came out to celebrate and support us โ€” thank you. ๐Ÿฅฐ

And I have a feeling weโ€™re just getting started. ๐Ÿคฉ
