Awareness isn’t just about keeping yourself safe. It’s about recognizing risks, making smarter choices, and sharing what you know with the people you care about.
Because sometimes one conversation, one warning, or one moment of awareness can make all the difference. Stay aware. Stay prepared. And help someone else do the same.
Adventure is better when someone knows where you are.
Whether you’re heading out for a run, hike, or another outdoor activity, Gale reminds us to take a few simple precautions: share your location or route with someone you trust, know where you’re going, and be mindful of areas where you may lose cell service.
It only takes a minute to prepare, but it could make all the difference if something goes wrong.

The more you notice, the safer you'll become.
Most people walk into a room thinking about where they’re going.
I walk in thinking about what’s around me.
The first things I notice are the exits, the people, and anything that feels out of place. Not because I expect something bad to happen, but because awareness gives you options before you ever need them.
You don’t have to live in fear to be prepared. A few intentional seconds of paying attention can make all the difference.
What do you notice first when you walk into a room?

Awareness is a skill. The more you practice it, the more naturally it becomes part of how you live.
The most dangerous words you can say are, ‘That would never happen to me.
It’s easy to believe that danger only happens to someone else. But awareness begins the moment we let go of the idea that we’re somehow immune. But let me remind us that personal safety isn’t about living in fear.
It’s about staying present, paying attention, and recognizing that being prepared is always wiser than being caught off guard. Don’t live in fear. Don’t live naïvely. Live A.W.A.R.E.
Stalking is never something to ignore or hope will simply go away.
In this reel, Gale shares why it’s so important to recognize the warning signs early and take them seriously. The sooner you document what’s happening, tell someone you trust, and seek help, the better your chances of stopping the behavior before it escalates.
Your instincts matter. If something feels wrong, don’t dismiss it.
Awareness isn’t about fear, it’s about taking action before it’s too late.
A few simple habits can make a big difference.
Here are some practical ways to make your home more secure, especially on warm nights when it’s tempting to leave windows open.
If you’re on the ground floor, lock your windows or use window security locks that let fresh air in while limiting how far the window can open. And if you have a security system, consider whether professionally monitored alarms or connected cameras are the right fit for your home and family.
The goal isn’t to live in fear. It’s to make your home a harder target and give yourself more time to respond if something isn’t right. Stay aware. Stay prepared.
