TMBR-Tehachapi Mountain Barrel Racers

Okkkk I had to update the youth points so they should be good to go now.
As far as the youth; I’m doing awards to 3rd place. I was hoping to do 5th but there’s not enough members to go down to 5th place for 4D.

The open will be awards to 5th since there was just over 100 members.

To be transparent and not break hearts or have parents upset: **There could be a situation where there may be a tie breaker. I’m not 100% on how I want to determine that, I’m hoping it will change with the October races. But it will be at my discretion and I’ll try to make it as fair as possible and I will get other input on it.

Also, you CANNOT look at Saddlebook for year end points because I have to manually do the horse swaps to combine points, and make changes that happened.
You can still see how day points were applied by looking at the day leaderboard.

Points are updated on the website...please double check them.

Fun race today! Good luck to all going to WCBRA finals next week.
Doug Stewart is posting your pictures and Outlaw Video has your videos!

Let’s chat incentives for the “little guys”. As a producer in their 3rd year of producing…let’s face it, incentives like FF, TL, etc. probably wont ever look into the smaller producer and completely understandable.

As someone who is a barrel racer herself and has a horse that isn’t eligible for those incentives, finding an incentive to add to her LTE has been amazing! That’s what The Non-Incentive/The Open Horse Incentive has done for me as both a barrel racer and producer. I enrolled Sister into it this year to test it out and she’s already won just over $1300 in this incentive to her LTE this year.

Jay is a FF horse but I will be enrolling him into The Open Horse program they have for horses that are in other incentives.

TMBR will be working on having more NIH/TOH incentive races including our upcoming Christmas Tree Race.

I know our year is winding down as winter approaches but if you run with TMBR, consider joining as we will be adding this incentive more.
