Pawsitive Change continues to grow, and we couldn’t be more proud of what these programs represent.

Today, we’re operating two programs at Tehachapi State Prison and another at North Kern State Prison, bringing together incarcerated men and rescue dogs in a journey of healing, responsibility, and redemption. Every day, we witness the incredible transformation that happens when people are given purpose, connection, and the opportunity to serve something greater than themselves.

But we’re not done yet.

We’re doing everything we can to raise the funds needed to launch a new Pawsitive Change program at Wasco State Prison. The need is there. The dogs are waiting. The men are ready. We just need the resources to make it happen.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this work over the last 11 years. Because of you, hundreds of rescue dogs and thousands of incarcerated individuals have discovered that second chances can change everything.

Help us walk, clean and game plan for the triumphant resurgence of Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue!

This week marks the beginning of our sixth year on Charlie Yard at California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.

Over the years, we’ve watched hundreds of men step forward to do the hard work of growth, accountability, and service. Some of our graduates have since been released and gone on to build careers in the pet industry, recovery field, and helping professions—continuing the work they began inside these walls.

Charlie Yard isn’t just a place for healing. It’s a place where people discover what it means to serve something greater than themselves—their community, their peers, and the dogs who depend on them.

We’re honored to begin another cycle alongside these incredible students and the shelter dogs that continue to change lives every day.

When Coconut first came to us, she was filled with physical and emotional scars. Every day she has healed sense. I’m so proud of this little girl. She has taken her place in the pack and has been sleeping with kiddos at night.
