Fun fact about the patchwork style :
Patchwork originated thousands of years ago, with the earliest evidence dating back to ancient Egypt (around 3,400 BCE) and ancient China, where small fabric scraps were pieced together for clothing and functional items. While it developed independently across cultures, it became a prominent tradition in Europe during the Middle Ages before being brought to America by settlers! Now we see it as a style and art statement !
