A successful match takes a village! The greatest joy of being a kids coach is to observe a child who went through the transformation from being shy, not sure of even trying out for a class to a gold medalist! The student is coachable, pays attention in class, works hard and stays humble. Meri went from 5 points down to a submission during her first match, and then secured her guard pass, Mount, to another submission! It’s so fun to watch her fight today! Of course, she’s also got a team cheering for her that’s so loud that we could hear them on the mat when she won❤️ but the best part of this is that she made another friend and the family community we all experienced today🙌. So proud to be part of the Camarillo jiu jitsu family

[Kids Gi with Coach Andrew]now it’s the Gi version of what you can do to break the collar grip and V up with your opponent. Adding on the knee cut smash pass we learned the other day. There are some couple options after you get the take down🙌
