Love Tehachapi

LoveTehachapi had a GREAT afternoon planning for one of our favorite Hometown Christmas traditions — the Little Elves Market! 🎄🎁

There is something pretty special about watching our community come together to make Christmas a little brighter for Tehachapi families, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming this year.

A BIG thank you to Starbucks on Tucker for letting us hang out today while we planned, dreamed, and figured out how to make some Christmas magic happen. We ❤️ Tehachapi — and we’re thankful for local businesses that help us “caffeinate the city” while we’re at it! ☕️😂

And we still need your help! ❤️

We are currently looking for individuals, families, groups, and local businesses who would like to donate new items to the Little Elves Market. Every donation helps us fill the Market and gives our Little Elves plenty of special gifts to choose from.

Want to help but not sure what to donate? Send us a DM and we’ll send you our Amazon Wishlist! 🎁

Hometown Christmas will be here before we know it, and we can’t wait to see Tehachapi come together again.

Tehachapi shows up. Tehachapi gives big. And Christmas around here is pretty special. ❤️🎄

Have you ever thought about getting involved with Love Tehachapi — this is your invitation!

Maybe you joined us at Green Street Get Down, volunteered with us in the past, or you’ve just seen us popping up here and there on Facebook. Come join us! Families are welcome, bring the kids, bring a friend — if you love Tehachapi and want to serve our community, there’s a place for you.

The only requirement to join? A pulse. 😂

And now that Green Street Get Down is behind us, we are officially turning our attention toward...

🎄🎄 CHRISTMAS! 🎄🎄

That’s right, people. I said it. CHRISTMAS!

Planning is underway for Hometown Christmas, and we need our community’s help filling our Little Elves Market!

The Little Elves Market gives local children the opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts for their families completely...

FREE. Yep — FREE!

We’re looking for NEW donated items from local crafters, businesses, makers, and creative people all over Tehachapi. Do you crochet? Make jewelry? Create sun catchers? Have something perfect for moms, dads, grandparents, brothers or sisters? Maybe you’re a local business that would love to donate some goodies. We would LOVE to have you partner with us!

Every donated item becomes a gift a child gets to personally choose for someone they love. ❤️

So Tehachapi, start crafting, creating and gathering those donations! And stay tuned — our Amazon Wish List is coming soon for anyone who wants an easy way to help us stock the market.

Let’s make Hometown Christmas something really special for our kids and our community. 🎄❤️

Christmas may still feel a little ways away… but Hometown Christmas is already on our minds! 🎄

As we begin preparing for our Little Elves Market, we’re looking for our community to come alongside us!

🎁 DONATE — New items, handmade goods, crafts, jewelry, gifts for moms, dads, siblings and more! Our Little Elves Market gives kids the opportunity to choose gifts for their families completely FREE.

🙌 VOLUNTEER — Hometown Christmas takes a village, and we are always looking for more people who love Tehachapi and want to jump in and serve!

Whether you’re a local business, a maker, a family, or simply someone who wants to help make Christmas a little brighter — we’d love to have you be part of it.

Keep Hometown Christmas in mind as you shop, create and plan this fall. ❤️🎄

Interested in donating or volunteering? Send Love Tehachapi a message!

We had SUCH a great time at Green Street Get Down! Thank you to everyone who came out, volunteered, stopped by, or helped make the day so much fun.

A huge thank you to The Semerenko Team for their generous donation of the raffle items that filled our laundry baskets for the One Cart at a Time event! ❤️
Because of your kindness and community spirit, we were able to give to local families with household and hygiene essentials and make the day even more special. Thank you for partnering with Love Tehachapi and helping us spread a little extra hope and encouragement throughout our community.

❤️ We are grateful for your support and your heart for Tehachapi!

Can we give a big round of applause to the Save Mart Team! 🛒❤️

It takes a village to make an event like One Cart at a Time possible, and while our volunteers were out helping shoppers and spreading kindness during One Cart at a Time, the team at Save Mart was behind the scenes making sure everyone felt welcomed and appreciated.
Not only did they graciously host our event, but they also went the extra mile by baking cookies and providing water for all the participants throughout the day. Those small gestures meant so much and perfectly reflected the spirit of generosity that made this event such a success.
The Save Mart team didn't just allow us to hold an event at their store—they embraced it. Their enthusiasm, support, and partnership helped create an atmosphere of kindness that shoppers, volunteers, and staff all got to experience together.
Community events like this happen because businesses choose to invest in their communities, and we're incredibly grateful that Save Mart continues to do just that.
To the entire Save Mart team: thank you for your hospitality, your partnership, the delicious cookies, the cold water, and for helping us make a difference one cart at a time. ❤️
Tehachapi is fortunate to have community partners like you.
