"I’m excited to recognize José Davila as Student of the Month. José is always on top of things and stands out in my U.S. History class for his dedication and enthusiasm. He doesn’t just come to class; he actively engages with the material and is always prepared. He’s the first one to raise his hand every day, eager to share something new and contribute to our class discussions.
José’s commitment to his education is evident in everything he does. He’s not just focused on his own success, he’s always ready to help his peers when they need it. Whether it’s explaining a concept or offering support with an assignment, José is the kind of student who makes everyone around him better.

Our EPIC High School is on Ana Marie Rios from our Bakersfield campus.

"Ana is an excellent student in my Intermediate ELA class. She is always willing to help out other students with anything they may need to be successful, especially with technology. I have seen her patiently work with students who need help using online tools such as Canvas and Cyber High. She always works with integrity and is willing to ask questions, make mistakes, and take an active role in her education."

FIELD is pleased to highlight Nicole Wynd this Women's History Month. Nicole is the Grants Coordinator for FIELD and works with the various programs to assist in the management of over $12MM in grant allocations. We asked Nicole about a woman who has inspired her in her journey and she shared...

"My OMA (grandmother). She survived WWII in Germany and racism when she arrived in the U.S. in the 1950's. She taught me to do what's right, even if it's hard. She loved me unobjectively and always made me feel safe - I hope to do the same for the people in my life."

Ruby Torres is one of FIELD's Teachers on Special Assignment and we are highlighting her inspiration this Women's History Month. We love what Ruby had to share.

Today, our Nutrition team hosted our very first Multicultural Nutrition/Farm to Fork Workshop, and it was a huge success! 🎉🥳 Our team worked with a delicious, fresh recipe that featured chard, grown right here by our CTE Ag Instructor Julia and our talented CTE AG students! 🥬💚 It was a perfect blend of learning, hands-on cooking, and celebrating local produce! 🧑‍🍳🌽

We can’t wait to continue this journey of sharing healthy, multicultural meals grown with love. Stay tuned for more workshops coming soon! 🍴✨
