In Tehachapi and Kern County!


Rising Star Riders (RSR), in conjunction with Tehachapi Arts Center Co-op (TAC) present the 5x5 art show and sale. The show will take place on May 8, 2026, doors opening at 5:55, all art is sized 5” x 5” and will be sold for $55.55!
We are seeking submissions of artwork for fundraising event with 100% of the proceeds going to Rising Star Riders, a therapeutic horseback riding program for children and adults with developmental, physical and emotional challenges.
This is planned as an annual fundraising event, providing artists a chance to display their talents, allow supporters to purchase a quality piece of artwork at an affordable price, gives the TAC greater community exposure, and offers a chance for the beginning of a great new Tehachapi tradition!
In addition to the official 5x5 artwork for sale, art created by the RSR participants & horses will be available for purchase at only $55.55!
TAC will provide participating artists with a 5”x 5” canvas (while supplies last) or artists are welcome to use their own canvas or surface.
