What a beautiful time at Native Plant Day 2026! 🌿☀️
We loved celebrating nature with so many wonderful people! One of the highlights was cheering on our own Bob Morris - WFDU as he was honored as one of seven outstanding teachers recognized for making a difference through environmental education. We couldn't be prouder! 💚👏
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the WFDU tent, enjoyed the music, shared a laugh, and spent part of the day with us. 🎶
Special shoutout to Don Torino and all of the amazing Bergen County Audubon Society volunteers for making the event such a success! 🌱🦋

We officially kicked off summer at PNC Bank Arts Center! ☀️🎶
The WFDU crew loaded up the tent into a giant red pickup truck we borrowed from a listener/neighbor (thanks Joe! 😄) and headed down the Parkway for Cousin Brucie’s free season opener featuring Peter Noone Herman’s Hermits and Tommy James and the Shondells! 🎙🎸
The weather was absolutely perfect, and we had such a great time meeting future listeners, handing out magnets and flyers, and showing people how easy it is to stream WFDU anywhere. And yes… even all the way down in Holmdel we had people stopping by the tent saying, “Hey, we listen all the time!” ❤️
Huge thanks to Mark Chernoff, Lonny Strum, Bob Morris - WFDU, and Opie the DJ Girl for holding down the tent and making the trip!
We can’t wait to hit the streets again this weekend at the Spring Pet Festival and Native Plant Day events! 😎🎵
