Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.

While the event may not have moved forward as planned, the mission behind it never changes: giving back to the community will always remain at the heart of what we do.

For over 30 years, 13 Ugly Men has remained committed to hosting events that , supporting incredible organizations that make a real impact in our community.

This year, we were proud to support the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and PARC Center for Disabilities, two amazing charities doing life-changing work every single day.

From caring for animals in need to empowering individuals with disabilities through programs, support, and opportunity, these organizations represent exactly why we continue to do what we do.

One week later, and we’re still incredibly disappointed that Derby at the Pier 2026 was cut short due to severe weather and flooding conditions at Spa Beach Park. After months of planning, seeing the venue transform the way it did was something none of us expected.

Over the past week, our 13 Ugly Men members have been working nonstop behind the scenes unloading the event, transporting equipment and materials back to Tampa, coordinating with vendors, sponsors, partners, liquor reps, and working through all of the next steps that come with an event of this size.

We want to sincerely thank all of our patrons, sponsors, vendors, partners, the Pier team/City, volunteers, and supporters who have continued to stand by us through this process. The support, kindness, and patience everyone has shown throughout this past week has truly meant the world to our team.

Ticket refunds are currently being processed, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through the volume of transactions.

For over 30 years, 13 Ugly Men Foundation 501(c)(3) has remained committed to “Partying for a Purpose,” and while this year didn’t go as planned, this organization will find a way to come back stronger!

We’ll see you at Derby at the Pier 2027

Dear friends,

We are incredibly disappointed to share that “Derby at the Pier 2026” was canceled due to severe weather. Conditions including a tornado watch, high winds, heavy rain, and lightning made it unsafe to continue, and Spa Beach Park was evacuated. After months of planning, this was not the outcome we or anyone hoped for, and we share in your disappointment. We especially appreciate your patience over the past few days.

As an UPDATE, we've worked with our partner EventLive to begin refunding all tickets immediately. ALL TICKET PURCHASES WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL. We expect the process to take between 5-7 days.

Many of you have reached out asking how you can support our two benefiting charities, Humane Society of Tampa Bay & Parc Center for Disabilities including donating your ticket value. Though all tickets will be refunded, we encourage anyone who'd like to contribute to do so here:
