OnBikes is a Tampa based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 2011 when a group of friends organized a community bike ride during the winter holiday season to raise funds so at-risk children could receive their first bicycles. OnBikes focus is to promote self-confidence, healthy living and overall well-being of at-risk children and foster kids while providing a fun and safe physical activity.

Throwback to one of our favorite days of the year, Santa’s Bike Shop. With the help of incredible volunteers and community partners, we came together to build over 1,000 bikes that would later be placed into the hands of children across our community. Looking back on this day reminds us just how much can happen when people come together for a purpose bigger than themselves.

Bringing teams together for a purpose bigger than themselves. We recently partnered with Prominence Advisors for a corporate bike build at Weston Country Club, where employees came together to build bikes that were donated to JAFCO and the children they serve.
From coast to coast, onbikes creates meaningful corporate team-building experiences that make a lasting impact on kids’ lives.

We were proud to partner with Enlightened FL at the 2nd Annual Community Expo hosted by The C.E.O. Project to help get more kids active and moving. As part of the event, kids had the chance to enter a bike giveaway by completing a fun physical activity challenge.
Through our partnership with The C.E.O. Project, Enlightened FL encourages healthy lifestyles and wellness for children throughout the community, including those facing chronic illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.
We loved seeing so much energy, excitement, and determination from the kids, and we’re honored to have helped send a few lucky riders home with brand-new bikes. 💚🚴♀️

What resonated most with Matt about onbikes is the idea that something as simple as a bicycle can give a child confidence, independence, and a sense of freedom. Those moments may seem small, but they often become some of the memories children carry with them for a lifetime.
Like many of us, some of Matt’s best childhood memories were made on two wheels. That personal connection to our mission, along with his passion for strengthening our community, makes him a perfect addition to the onbikes family.
