Original 911 vs 992... A clash of Stuttgart's finest 🔥

The Porsche 911 has come a LONG way... yet somehow stayed exactly the same! The original 911 feels like pure, unfiltered driving compared to the hyper-engineered, tech-laden 992 we have today. Back in 1963, the original 911 was a revelation! A rear-engined, air-cooled sports car penned by Ferdinand "Butzi" Porsche with a flat-six soundtrack unlike anything else on the road.

Fast forward to the 992 and you're looking at a water-cooled twin-turbocharged flat-six, PDK gearbox, PASM adaptive suspension, rear-axle steering, launch control, and enough electronic driver aids to make the original 911 feel like a horse and cart.

What never changes though is that unmistakable silhouette and flat-six wail. The engine hanging out behind the rear axle where it absolutely shouldn't be, and works better than anything else ever made.
