Perfect Practice & the Syracuse Jr. Chiefs are pleased to share that Big League Edge is proud to announce the national selection of Liam Gokey, 2026 12U Jr. Chiefs, to our 12U Gold Team, representing the United States in the 2026 LABC Games.

Liam hails from Sherrill, NY - Northeast and plays for the 2026 12U Syracuse Jr. Chiefs, the oldest youth travel ball program in the Northeast. He's an elite catcher who throws runners out consistently. He moves well and plays an athletic game, which transfers onto the mound. As a pitcher, Gokey is a command pitcher with two quality pitches he throws low in the zone. At the plate, Gokey excels with two strikes and hits for high average.

Liam earned his spot after being selected from 4,000+ athletes who attended USA trials nationwide. The Organization officially congratulates him upon this incredible accomplishment.

With a thrilling walk-off victory and an impressive average of 5 runs scored over their opponents, this remarkable team achieved an undefeated record throughout the tournament. Their individual efforts reflect the essence of teamwork, embodying "The Jr. Chief Way"!

The 15U Jr. Chiefs extend their gratitude for the spirit of sportsmanship and fierce competition, and they thank West Virginia for its warm hospitality. Celebrating their second tournament championship of the season, we are immensely proud of our Players, Coaches, and Fanatics!
