Four pillars
-Project based learning
A way to learn traditional subjects in a non-traditional way. Much collaboration and teamwork is used in Project Based Learning. PBL is a creative and interesting way to learn and teach.
-Business Partnerships
Innovation Tech is all about business partnerships and how we use the outside community with our projects. Many of our successful projects have an outside partnership. Each year we involve ourselves with many business partnerships that gives us a great learning opportunity and real life experience.
-Advisory
Each student class has a group of facilitators as an advisor. Advisory is an opportunity to catch up on innovation tech plans and events.
-Community Service
Here at Innovation Tech community service is a way we give back. Each student must have 100 hours to graduate. Students must have community service hours, and each student does get the opportunity to get Community Service hours.

October is Manufacturing Month! ⚙️
This week, a group of students across grade levels attended a field trip to TTM Technologies, Inc., to learn about their facilities and opportunities. Another group took a trip to ICM Controls. They toured the facilities to learn how engineers build and test their products, and had the opportunity to build their own desk phone holders.

Yesterday, a group of students attended Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s STEAM Day!
They talked with different organizations about careers, college, and other awesome opportunities to get involved. Of course, afterwards they walked through the zoo together and saw all the animals.

Pumpkin Chunkin is gearing up for another year! Engineers Brian and Dan from Novelis stopped by and were able to give our Physebra teams Critical Friends Feedback on their designs and shopping lists. Students are excited to start building next week!

The first week of the 2026-2027 school year is winding down!
This year, our orientation guided students to consider how they can best spend their time each day to help them reach their goals. Each student contributed a goal or an action step to our community wall — to remind us all to use our time to our advantage every day.
We are looking forward to an incredible year.
