Apple has officially eliminated the possibility of DIY repairs on their MacBook Pro laptops, which cost between $6,000 and $7,000. This move has severely undermined their credibility, trustworthiness, and reliability among many customers, who can no longer even replace their screens. I'm sharing a link that goes into much more depth and detail.

We recently conducted a test on an ASUS GPU under warranty and received a response indicating Customer Induced Damage (CID). The GPU was brand new, only removed from the packaging for inspection purposes. Despite reporting a VRAM issue, ASUS claimed there was water damage upon receipt of the product, which we dispute.

After 19 days of shipping, we have yet received the GPU back, causing concerns among our clients regarding ASUS' warranty policies. In response, we have launched an internal investigation to gain further insight into the situation and will provide updates as new information becomes available.

Based on our current experience, we recommend caution when considering purchasing ASUS products due to potential challenges in receiving warranty support. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Thank you.
