We have some speckled egg layers!

The ladies are start to go crazy again.

Next up is meat birds.
Hoop coop/ chicken tractor finished up but a little late for this season. We will be in the 90’s by the time they would be at processing weight. Going to shoot for end of summer for an early fall processing.

Looking at freedoms or Cornish cross.

Almost all our new pullets are laying, still a few stragglers. Our hens are also back up after molting. Still a few shy of full production.

19 layers and getting around 8 a day. Should start to see 14-16 a day once they are full force.

The new ladies are at about 20-21 weeks old and we just got our first egg from that group from the Golden Sexlink.

Our 1 year old hens are starting to lay again after molting. We were getting 3-4 a day from the 10, now back up to 5-6 a day.
