The Sun Prairie Public Library will issue a library card free of charge to any Wisconsin resident. Photo identification with name and current address is required to get a card. Parents must sign for children under the age of 16.

Join us next month to discuss "The Three-Body Problem" by Cixin Liu! Stop by the library to pick up your copy or find it on Libby!

Join us on Friday, October 9 at 6:30 PM in the Community Room for an opening reception in celebration of local artist Nancy Mather! 🎨

The opening reception will feature a library-led conversation with the artist followed by a viewing of her artwork. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet Nancy and ask her questions about her work. Refreshments will be served.

This event is generously funded by the Friends of the Sun Prairie Public Library.

Sun Prairie Public Library will host various pieces of Nancy’s artwork in the Community Room from October 2 through the end of December.

On Saturday, September 19th from 3:00-4:00PM we will be having our first Teen Mystery Book Club!

Let's talk mystery books! Visit the Youth Services Desk to check out the book we're reading. Meets in the Youth Program Room. For teens in 6th-12th grade. Registration recommended on the Library's Event Calendar. For September's meeting, we will be discussing Mystery Books we love and choosing a book to read as a group for October's meeting.

Teen Creativity Club - Tuesday, September 22 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in The Mixer!

Meet up with Melissa for Teen Creativity Club. Projects we'll be doing: painting, zine making, air-dry clay, collage and more. Registration is recommended. This program is for teens in 6th - 12th grade.

All library programs are free and open to the public.

Geared for those in K-5, but all ages are welcome! We'll be making ID badges, practicing our aiming skills, making a disguise, and testing our sleuthing skills. This program is for kids and their grown-ups to play together! No registration.
