9th place finish last night at The Historic 441 Speedway with Southern Clash Late Models

As I was driving home reflecting on the night thinking about either what I did wrong or where I could’ve done better a memory popped up on my phone, 1 year ago today dad and I cranked up the 602 for the first time.
The amount I have grown and learned in a years time both on and off the track is unbelievable. The younger me would be so proud right now as I’ve previously dreamed to be where I am today.

But it’s just the beginning… still have a long journey ahead and I’m confident in my drive and determination to make it to the top. And the growth rate in just the last year shows nothing but proof for that.

Last night we fought transmission problems, was 3rd quick in hotlaps, brake adjuster problems, motorhome problems etc. when it rains it pours! Dad and I thrashed all night trying to figure things out and even had mom and my sister changing tires!
I can’t thank everyone enough who supports me and has helped me grow over the last year along with my parents and sister for making sacrifices and supporting me every step of the way.

We are just getting started… it’s not a matter of “if” it’s a matter of when…

7th ➡️ 3rd
Last minute decision to jump back behind the wheel at Hartwell Motor Speedway tonight after being out the car on the road with G.R. Smith Motorsports!
After an electrical issue causing me to miss Hotlaps dad and I got it fixed and went straight into qualifying.
Missed setup a bit and was 7th quick and started 7th in the feature and worked our way all the way up to 3rd!
Made some big changes on the car and everything is working out well as I continue to learn more and more every day! Definitely had a good piece and excited to see what tomorrow brings!

Returning Speedu student Broughton Boatright Racing has probably created more opportunities for himself than any youth racer we know.

Broughton has made the most of his flexible education, spending lots of time traveling and helping race teams, working various jobs to help fund his racing adventures, and doing most of the work on his race car himself. His work ethic and willingness to think outside the box have opened up some amazing opportunities to continue developing his race craft and building his racing resume.
