Today was processing day for the male quail we had. 18 for the freezer. Next we will process some of our older hens to get ready for our new breeder program.

🌿 Sunday Garden Spotlight: Peppermint Takeover! 🍃✨

If there is one thing about peppermint, it’s that it doesn’t just grow—it takes over! The garden is absolutely bursting with lush, fragrant peppermint right now, and the scent in the air today is incredible.

Whether it's muddled into a freezing cold glass of iced tea, chopped fresh into a summer watermelon salad, or brewed into a relaxing hot cup before bed, there is nothing quite like fresh-picked mint.

(And yes, a big batch of this is definitely heading toward the dehydrator for my personal winter tea stash later on! ☕️🤫)
