We had the BEST time celebrating National Pumpkin Spice Day at Sumter Terrace! 🧡 Our residents enjoyed a cozy pumpkin spice happy hour filled with delicious pumpkin spice coffee, yummy donuts, lots of laughter, and good company! ☕️🍩🥰
Nothing says fall quite like the smell of pumpkin spice and the smiles of our residents! 🎃🍂 We’re so thankful for these special moments spent together and all the fun memories we continue to make! Pumpkin spice, happy hearts, and good times! 🧡🎃☕️

✨ Hello, October! ✨ A fresh, new calendar of activities is here! We have designed this month’s schedule to fill our days with laughter, meaningful connections, and plenty of cozy autumn vibes… plus some fun pumpkin surprises too! Whether you love staying active or enjoying quiet, creative afternoons, we have something for everyone to look forward to. Check out what we have lined up this month!

✨ DOLLY DAY AT SUMTER TERRACE 9-25! ✨🎀
We started our Dolly Day with a “Cup of Ambition” ☕️ and some delicious donuts 🍩 because, as Dolly would say, we needed a little fuel for all that glitter and fun! 😂✨
Then we got our rhinestone cowgirl on! 🤠💎 Our residents and staff had a blast bedazzling cowboy hats, adding a little sparkle, sass, and plenty of Dolly flair!
Next up was our Rhinestone Cowgirl Social 💕💎 featuring delicious snacks, good company, lots of laughs, and memories we’ll be talking about for a while! And what better way to end a Dolly-filled day than with Steel Magnolias 🎬🌸—one of those classic movies that brings ALL the feels! 🐾 And of course, we couldn’t forget our special visitor, Toby the Therapy Dog! Toby stopped by to add some extra love and smiles to our celebration. 🐶💗 A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered, donated, participated, visited, and supported our Dolly Day! 🤠🐴 That’s a WRAP on Assisted Living Week at Sumter Terrace! 🤠🎉
We ended the week in true Western Day style! From cowboy hats and boots to big smiles and plenty of fun, our residents and staff sure knew how to celebrate! 🌵🤠
We were also honored to have a special visit from the Last Patrol Veteran Group 🇺🇸❤️. Thank you for spending time with us, sharing stories, and bringing your presence and patriotism to Sumter Terrace. Our residents truly enjoyed your visit!
A HUGE thank-you to everyone who helped make Assisted Living Week 2026 so special! From Decades Day to Team Day, Pajama Day, Community Day, and now Western Day, we made memories, shared lots of laughs, and celebrated the wonderful people who make Sumter Terrace feel like home. ❤️

✨ ASSISTED LIVING WEEK – DAY 4! ✨
Today was all about COMMUNITY at Sumter Terrace! 💙💛Our staff showed off their special Sumter Terrace T-shirts made just for Assisted Living Week! 👕✨ We loved seeing everyone matching, smiling, and showing that we’re truly one big family!
Then we got creative with keychains and cookies with Ashley from Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation Center! 🍪🔑 We had so much fun creating, decorating, laughing, and making memories together! A HUGE thank you to Ashley for spending the day with us and bringing so much fun and creativity to Sumter Terrace! 💕 We always love having you visit!

🤫😴Today’s theme was “PJ Party” and our team + our residents showed out in full loungy fun!!!
We were all ready for a nap by the end of the day! 😴🤫

🎨🧀🍷A special thank you goes to Kelly Johnson with “Your Health”! This group goes above and beyond for our residents every single day by providing in-house care. Today, Kelly came in strong with “Sip and Paint”. The residents got to have some sparkling grape juice while snacking on charcuterie, listening to soothing music and painting some Fall scenes. I believe we are housing some hidden talent.🍷🧀🎨
