These are discs that have been found at various courses in Sumter. Texted/called if there was a phone number. After June 9 these discs will be sold/donated, with proceeds going to the club, business, and community outreach.

Sunday, May 31, 35 players joined us at Dillon Park in Sumter, SC, to compete in the first annual Cat’s Best Friend Classic — a Puff-N-Go x SCDGC charity tournament powered by Meow-llennium Millennium Golf Discs

To all the participants who traveled from near and far, the businesses that donated raffle prizes, the Sumter City Disc Golf Club, and everyone else who loves cats and/or disc golf — thank you!

It meant a lot to us to see so many people competing in their first tournament, which is no small thing. It also meant a lot to see experienced players helping to ensure a positive first-tournament experience by being great card mates (which is also no small thing).

The weather held: cool, dry, overcast, and lightly breezy. About as ideal as one could hope for this time of year.

Y’all turned a day of disc golf into something much bigger, helping raise $1,505 for Cat's Best Friend.
