Retro 2 Fix

I just finished a reshell on an old-school gameboy. This has to be the coolest shell I have ever seen. It changes color based on how the light hits it. It's called pearl. It's hard to capture in a photo, but it's awesome. Let me know if you are interested in having your system reshelled.

The most common console repair that I do is HDMI port replacement. Often, I get console in, where customers try to repair them on their own and cause additional damage, that can add cost to a repair. Here is a couple picture of a recent HDMI port repair where copper traces were pull in an attempted repair. This give you and idea of how difficult it can be to replace an HDMI port. Those are copper traces that I had to run and you can see by my finger, how tiny those traces are.

I created this console repair business in 2023 to help people repair their game console and make a little money on the side. It really seems like it is turning into much more. I now do repairs for 4 gamestops in the area, a local retro game shop and 4 pawn shops. I guess I underestimated the need for good console repair professionals.
