There are many candidates running for the school board election as well as other offices. Please plan on attending the Candidate Forum and hear how they plan on representing us. See flyer attached.
The Forum is on Thursday, June 18th from 5:30 to 8. 5:30 is the meet and greet and the forum will start at 6. It will be held at the Hobe Sound Bible Church Auditorium

Scholarship Night
Please plan on attending our Scholarship Night this coming Thursday, May 14th at 4:00 at Pig and Cattle. We will be presenting the check to this year's scholarship winner. The winner will be attending along with her parent(s). Also, there will be one possibly two previous winners attending. Come and hear their exciting stories and what our scholarship has done for them. Please do not miss it and come and show your support for what we do for students in our community. It is a great event.
Also, you have all probably received a notice from FREA regarding your dues. Yes, they are coming due for the 2026 to 2027 year which begins on July 1st. As always, you can send your dues to FREA or send them to me and I will forward them to FREA. The difference is we get our money quicker when you send it directly to me.
The dues are $65. It is split with $45 going to FREA and $20 comes to us for our scholarship fund and general fund. If you would like to send your dues to me, send a check made out to MCREA for $65 to:

That is all you have to do and I will send your info along with a check for FREA's portion to FREA.
Again, please plan on attending Scholarship Night this Thursday, May 14th at 4:00. Let's show these young people how proud we are to be supporting them.

Christian Li Rpberts, one of Martin County School Board Members has made a request for volunteers from MCREA to participate in a TextBook Adoption. It begins Monday, February 23rd. She is sorry for the late notice.
This is a Non-Core Subject year for the Adoption.
The Subjects are:
Career & Tech Ed Grades 9-12
World Language Grades K-12
Visual & Performing Arts Grades K-12
The review period is for 30 days and you are able to review the materials digitally from your home.
If you are interested, please contact Christia Li Roberts ASAP at 772-528-1088. She will need your name, phone number, email and which subject you are interested in.
