Last week, I picked up my oil brushes for the first time since my mom passed away in March. 🙏
She was my biggest cheerleader, and I always loved sharing each stage of my paintings with her. I also cherished our phone calls and visits while I painted, they were some of my favorite moments.🥰
It feels especially fitting that my first commission back is a mother bird and her baby.❤️
These are just the early stages, with many details still to come. Thank you for following along on this journey.🎨

I am so honored to be one of the artists invited to exhibit at The Bailey Art Gallery for A Shell Called the Neptune, opening this Friday evening from 5-7pm.
This beautiful exhibition brings together twenty Florida Treasure Coast artists, each interpreting the natural landscapes and coastal inspiration that surround us. I'm grateful to have three paintings included in this special show.

Finished this tranquil 12"x12" oil painting, No Wake Zone, just in time for the upcoming Martin County Open Studio Tour 🎨Feb 21-22.
There's something so peaceful about a pelican gliding across still water.💙
