Congratulations to our Career Connect participant, Jojo Payne, on successfully completing her 120 hours of trial employment with our awesome employer, Visionary School of The Arts! She worked with her coach to focus on soft and hard skills like attention to detail, her ability to multitask and computer skills, she has become an asset to their team. She has filled a much needed gap for them.

This opportunity provided valuable hands-on experience, skill development, and professional growth. We are proud of her hard work and dedication and grateful to Visionary School of The Arts for partnering with us to support workforce development and career exploration.

Heyyyy, check this out!!!! Christian is a young man that was referred to Career Connect from our very own Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County. He successfully completed their electrical apprenticeship program and was seeking out a career opportunity in the electrical field where he could grow. With a few coaching sessions, review of his DISC profile and discussion of his skills, he was matched with one of our Career Connect employers and supporters, Bismark Electric. Bill's staff took him and trained him with some great hands on skills. Bill's report "Christian is a rockstar". We are happy to report he was hired on full time with Bismark. We look forward to continuing to watch him grow in this career.

We're so excited to share yet another success story with Career Connect. Ari had been out of the workforce for years while caring for her son. She came to Career Connect to reengage and get ready to reenter the workforce. After updating her resume, increasing her confidence with interviews and understanding her DISC profile, she was matched with one of our great local employers, Mccarthy & Summers for trial employment. Drinks & Pickleball Brings High-Energy Fun to Jensen Beach—All for a Great Cause!

Get ready to serve, sip, and support! The Martin Chamber Foundation invites the community to rally for a night of action-packed fun at D***s, Drinks & Pickleball, a lively indoor tournament benefiting the Career Connect Martin program.

Taking place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Diadem Jensen Beach, this one-of-a-kind fundraiser blends friendly competition with a party atmosphere—complete with music, costumes, and community spirit.

A Tournament Like No OtherWhether you're a seasoned player or just learning the game, all skill levels are welcome in this high-energy, round-robin format. Teams of two will compete in fast-paced, timed matches, rotating opponents each round for maximum play and excitement. The top teams will advance to a playoff showdown to crown the ultimate champions.
