When people say things like, “That will never happen,” or “God’s got this,” I have to gently respond:

History repeats itself ...and if you’re paying attention, you’ll notice what has already begun to resurface.

And while faith definitely matters, the truth is that tragedy has always existed. Some suffering can be lessened or avoided when people choose wisdom, compassion, works, and accountability over denial.

This story should NOT be ignored.

The sign in my room said, “Welcome Back”… and honestly, I needed that.

I’m entering a season of significant months: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and all the emotions that come with realizing both of my parents are gone.

No grandparents.
No parents.
Now I must learn how to carry grief while still gently and intentionally carrying myself.

For the last few months, stress, sadness, and depression pulled me away from my healthy habits and my peaceful square. But instead of disappearing into this season, I’m choosing to return to myself.

Healthy food.
Ocean air.
Quiet moments.
Rest.
Healing.

Not because life suddenly feels easy…

But because the best tribute I can give to my ancestors is to "live my life" as my dad said. It starts with peace

I need the hard-headed people who STILL think voting doesn't matter to listen (to hear and understand).

Some people have NO clue how dark the days are about to become. Some of us have been talking about this for years. 😣
