We take special interest in the care of canines and felines, providing a variety of services from routine exams and surgeries to sick and urgent care.
After more than 30 years of exemplary service to pets, SPAH merged in 2021 with Community Animal Hospital. In 2022 the merged hospital was renamed Point Area Veterinary Clinic marking a new chapter of service to clients and pets at 2909 Michigan Avenue, Stevens Point, Wisconsin, 54881. Your pet record access and history will remain in place and under the care of the Stevens Point Animal Hospital Team, now Point Area Veterinary Clinic. You can expect seeing the same faces, and experiencing the same standard of care now at Point Area Veterinary Clinic.

To all our loyal clients and beloved community of pets, we have a bittersweet announcement that we are closing on Thursday, September 30th and will be merging with Community Animal Hospital for all appointments starting October 1st.
It’s been a wonderful 40+ years being able to serve our community and we will continue to provide the very best in animal healthcare with our team moving to the CAH location at 2909 Michigan Avenue.
All SPAH appointments will be honored and relocated to CAH. While it’s a change of location, it’s no change to our service for you and your pets. We look forward to seeing you at our new location. Each year over 1 million shelter animals are euthanized. Today is Remember Me Thursday, a day to shine a light on the importance of pet adoption and to raise awareness for those pets that are still looking for their forever homes. Visit your local shelter if you are thinking about adding an addition to your family.
