WIRMC is Wisconsin's annual statewide solid waste and recycling conference held every February. A series of concurrent sessions are also offered.
WIRMC is an annual conference that runs around the end of February every year. It is hosted in partnership by the Associated Recyclers of Wisconsin (AROW), the Solid Waste Association of North America - Badger Chapter (SWANA), and the Wisconsin Counties Solid Waste Management Association (WCSWMA). We are convening at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI for WIRMC 2027. The conference will be held Wednesday, February 24th - Friday, February 26th. We are looking for engaging presentations that educate, inspire, and spark discussion among professionals in solid waste and resource management.
Presentation proposals are due no later than August 28th, 2026 at 4:00 PM CST. The conference committee will review submissions and make final selections in September. For more information on presenting at WIRMC 2027, visit www.wirmc.org/call-for-presentations
