💜💛 Did you sing in a choir while at UWSP?? 💛💜

Join us for the Alumni Choral Event - a biennial celebration that brings together UWSP alumni who have sung in a choir during their time at the university. It is a special opportunity for former students to return to campus, reconnect with one another, and experience the joy of making music together once again.

This year’s clinician is Prof. Lucinda Thayer, retired UWSP Professor and former Director of Choral Activities, who led the program for more than 20 years. Throughout her tenure, Prof. Thayer played a significant role in shaping the musical and educational experiences of generations of UWSP students. Her return to campus for this event is a meaningful opportunity for many alumni to reconnect with a mentor who had such a lasting influence on their lives and musical journeys.

🎶✨Have you registered yet to join us for Low Brass Day 2026??✨🎶

A fun-filled day of music and learning about low brass at UWSP. Open to players of all ages and ability who share a love of brass playing. Everyone will have the opportunity to perform with the Massed Low Brass Ensemble, the music will accessible to most and will be sent well in advance. Music educators will receive Personal Development credits by request.

Katie would like to thank committee members, my committee members, Dr. Aguilar (Assistant Professor and Director of Music Education, main advisor), Dr. Cruz (Assistant Professor – Director of Choirs), and Dr. Buchholz (Professor – Vocal Jazz and Contemporary Voice), for their guidance, encouragement, and thoughtful feedback throughout this journey.
