350 Stevens Point

This week, we will be walking over to the City Plan Commission meeting.

We will meet up in !!! CBB 165 at 5:30pm on Monday, 10/5 !!! to get to the meeting by 6:00pm.

If you've never been to a city meeting before, this is a very important one! We have an opportunity to prevent AI Data Centers from building in Stevens Point. The last agenda item for this meeting is community input on data center construction. If we show up and share our opinions, we can help keep data centers out in the very early stages (before it gets a lot harder to fight!) You do not have to speak--just your presence in support is helpful too!

If you'd rather meet us there, the meeting is at 6:00pm at 933 Michigan Ave in the Community Room.

We hope to see you there!

🌎✍️ JOIN US TONIGHT!!! CBB165 at 6:30PM

Do you care about leaky oil pipelines, big oil evading the law, or data centers invading your area? We will be writing letters to our representatives about several environmental issues. You can also write thank-you or support letters towards issues that are being taken care of in ways you appreciate! Join us for a fun time and political engagement!

Today a couple 350 members visited Lawrence University in Appleton for their CCL Climate Summit! Lawrence has Wisconsin's only Citizens Climate Lobby university chapter! Thank you to CCL Wisconsin and CCL Lawrence for hosting this super cool event (and inviting us!!)

Welcome back, 350 -- as you know, this year has had a brutal start. Due to recent events, we will not be holding a meeting this week. We encourage you to instead join this vigil and protest in honor of the lives lost to ICE attacks. We hope to see you there and we will resume our regular meetings next week.

Hi everyone! Due to our guest speaker being disrupted by the cold and flu season (get well soon, Meleesa!), we are unfortunately canceling this week's meeting. We are hoping to have her back in the Spring semester, so stay tuned!

Join us for a visit to Dr. Holly Petrillo's farm in Almond, WI! We will tour the farm and learn a bit about permaculture farming then help her plant garlic. Bring your own gloves if you have them, but all tools will be provided. Meet at Lot Z at 11am for carpooling! It is about a 30 minute drive.
Please fill out this form to RSVP or DM us! https://forms.office.com/r/mwwBeLj3ih
