Connie of Turquoise on Main and Shawn of Shawn Williams Creative have been working together since Connie opened the doors and began this downtown adventure almost 2 years ago now. Born and raised in Mississippi, lived in Nashville, and then San Antonio, ventured west to Phoenix took a left at the fork in the road and now resides in Central Wisconsin. It’s through creating a home at each new place that Connie Buchanan found her passion and natural talent for design and making spaces beautiful.
Known for her sophisticated and elevated sense of layered interiors, Connie infuses her signature style with warmth and comfort creating a welcoming ambiance and relaxed setting in every room. When an opportunity to open a boutique came up, Connie jumped at the chance to make her dream come true.
And Turquoise on Main was established, a highly curated trove of beautiful home accessories and decor; it’s a one-stop-shop for signature accents and design guidance, much of which is inspired by Connie’s background and travels including her southern touch. The enthusiasm for hosting and hospitality is Connie’s second language, she has the ability to establish a space through the details; the love and enjoyment, the storytelling, and simply the present — a moment in time where everyone gathers and appreciates the little things.
