This is a cool way to rig a sneaky swim bait with the Core Tackle T**h swim bait jig head which hides the weight on the shank of the hook. The swim bait is from Southern Ohio Custom Baits
Here are 5 ways to rig an urchin bait:
1. Scamper Rig: This works best in shallow water under 3 feet and helps maximize your hook gap.
2. Dice Rig: This setup locks your bait using a double wire keeper so you never lose it while fishing from 1 to 10 feet deep.
* Use the 3/0 hook for urchins that are 19mm or bigger
* Use the Size 1 Hook for anything smaller
3. W**dless Wacky Shot: This weedless option features a single cable weedguard that helps you come through heavy brush and grass.
4. T**H Hook 4/0 3/8oz: This heavy hook locks the bait into the center and allows you to fish deeper water from 8 to 20 feet.
5. Shimmy Rig: This rig hides all the weight inside the urchin to give you an exposed hook with a perfectly vertical fall in 8 to 20 feet of water.
