Rough back-of-napkin math from a member at our home course: he tipped the ranger $20 the last two times he lost a wedge, plus about $150 to replace the second one. That's $190. Here is the exact wording of the alarm. 'Your SW may have been left behind. Find it.' Short, specific, and it goes off before you have picked up your next club, not after you get home.
That 'may have been' phrasing is deliberate. Sometimes you have set the wedge in the cart and just walked ten feet. The app gives you the chance to catch it either way.
