Who says your engagement photos can’t look stunning in harsh lighting? We know how to work that sun!! Grace smartly scheduled her hair and makeup trial before this session, too - doesn’t she look gorgeous? Almost as gorgeous is their sweet dog who we had to get in some shots as well.

Wow, these azaleas! We love that Meadowlark gardens offers different blooms each month of the year. Each time we go, we are able to explore and photograph in different backdrops across the vast grounds. This sweet couple is getting married in Fall of 2027..which is already filling up!

A repeat family of ours - from weddings to newborns. This session featured their new beautiful home, with their new beautiful baby girl, who let us place her in a beautiful bed of flowers!

How lucky is this couple that their wedding happened to line up with peak cherry blossoms blooming in DC and at Meadowlark Gardens!! They are so deserving. Friday March 27th was our longest wedding gig yet..but never a dull moment from morning to midnight. Jacob (groom) even celebrated his 30th birthday after the wedding reception! It was such a fun day with an awesome group of people. From Jacob’s cute cat in his apartment, to Katie and Jacob’s heartfelt hand-written vows during the ceremony, to cherry blossom petals flying in the wind, to an enormous cookie exchange table, and many happy tears..we were lucky to be a part of this day.

*So far*, the big siblings (sister and dog) are adjusting well to the newest addition!

As 2025 comes to a close, we reflect on the amazing year we had, and the special moments we had with our clients. With 55 weddings, we have quite a few new memories. We are proud of ourselves and our awesome team for their hard work. Still a little editing left to go but we’re getting there! Happy new year everyone and cheers to 2026 🎉

Last month we did photo / video for my cousin’s wedding in North Carolina at one of the most beautiful venues we’ve ever seen! 70°, peak foliage, a light breeze, a sunset ceremony, a model couple, and the best group of people to party with (half of it my family). What more could you ask for?
