I don't know how to put into words all that I owe this man. On a personal level, he gives me the world... but that is for a different post. This post is about what he does for every single student and every single fighter that walks through the doors at Central PA Mixed Martial Arts.

Ryan gives everything to his team and to his gym. People see the coaching, people see the training, people see the cornering, people see the beautiful facility he has created. What people don't see is every other moment.

People don't see the hours and hours he spends every night researching opponents and watching fight footage.

People don't see all the emails, texts, and conversations that he has every single day, trying to get the best opportunities for our athletes.

People don't see the weekends lost fixing things, replacing things, trying to make our facilities better.

People don't see him up all night racking his brain, trying to figure out what he could have done better to help one of our athletes.

It goes un-noticed that he drives all night and all day to every tournament, show, grappling match, sparring session, and training camp.

The answer to every question is "whatever is best for the team"..."whatever the team wants."

He lives for his family and his gym, and he is 100% selfless, 100% of the time.

Thank you Ryan Gruhn for the family you have created at CPAMMA. Because of you, we have a safe space that we can be strong in, that we can feel a part of, and that we can absolutely smash goals in.

What a weekend! The Canadian Muay Thai Open did NOT disappoint! Game fighters from all over the world showed up to throw down, and that is exactly what happened. So many fights, so many wonderful people, and so many lessons learned.

Darryl and his team put on an incredible event. My US friends... You HAVE to start going to this event. It is worth every penny. This is our second year attending and the event staff, as well as the officials, are doing everything they can to make the experience better and better, and to promote good solid Muay Thai.

Muay Thai Ontario, as well as the MTC, were clear and easy to work with as far as documentation, education, and the medical process is concerned. My point??? Get your passports and get to Canada!

To my team and training partners at CPAMMA:

I couldn't be more proud! It wasn't exactly a smooth weekend for us, but we did what we always do, and we did what we came to do. We stuck together, we freaking fought, and we made incredible memories.

Sam Skinner; it was an absolute honor. Thank you for sharing the ring with me.

Darryl, Kru Alin, Dana, Kru Laura and all the other people that welcomed us with open arms... Thank you.

To Ryan, my incredible husband and Coach... I would be lost without you. Thank you for putting your all into us.
