SJC Social Work students attended Social Work Day at the State House to meet legislators and learn how laws are made. Special appearances by our friends Rep. Lori Gramlich and Rep. Lydia Crafts! These students made us proud and hopeful for the future 🥹 Huge thanks to for organizing the event!

SJC’s BSW program was approved to participate in this year’s virtual experience.
From their website:
Mobilize Recovery is an initiative of the Recovery Advocacy Project and the Voices Project. It’s mission is to expand policy to support recovery, create connections to supportive services that are vital and lifesaving, and to engage affected individuals in meaningful community action. The initiative convenes advocates with lived experience to build capacity for organized civic engagement with new leadership across the country.
We are honored to participate in this event and look forward to continuing our work toward community-based recovery solutions.
