A passion for people through work that reflects Christ 💚 This is how we feel about our chaplain Fr. Dan Thiess and how he goes above and beyond to talk with clients, coworkers, and gather donations for all Catholic Charities ministries, including St. Patrick Center.

Although Fr. Dan's job is more than a typical 9-5, help our coworkers like Fr. Dan help those in need by donating to support St. Patrick Center and providing necessities with joy: https://www.stpatrickcenter.org/donate?utm_source=facebook.

Our Executive Director Chris is becoming quite the celebrity! Check out his response to the South Grand Community Improvement District letter requesting that businesses not provide food, water, or services to the unhoused here: https://www.ksdk.com/article/news/local/south-grand-businesses-at-odds-over-response-to-homelessness/63-46580285-b391-478c-ac94-b36feb752b23.

Here at Catholic Charities ministry St. Patrick Center, we seek to treat our sisters and brothers, whether unhoused or not, with dignity and compassion. Thank you to Chris and KSDK News for representing our clients and St. Louis neighbors in order to give them access to the services every human deserves.

South Grand Community Improvement District letter sparks debate over homeless population Business owners said they got a letter from the South Grand Community Improvement District telling them not to provide food or water to homeless people in the area.

Going around town, it is common to encounter unhoused individuals scattered around offramps, sitting outside buildings, or coming up to you to ask for help. Let's be honest: it can be uncomfortable and awkward as you avoid them or smile and keep going.

When you donate to Catholic Charities ministry St. Patrick Center, you are helping these individuals by donating money that will be turned into meals, wellness programs, and housing.

Check out the programs we offer on our website and donate online to help people around town access the help they need: https://www.stpatrickcenter.org/donate.
