Birth Actually provides unbiased physical and emotional support and knowledge to women before, during, and after the birth of their child(ren). You may only need someone to help you manage pain while another woman may need a knowledgeable presence to help explain the procedures that may happen. A doula is good to have at any type of birth to help keep you calm and focused.
