Last Thursday, the House passed the budget without restoring the $51 million needed for child care subsidy funding, putting families and providers across Missouri at risk.

The budget now moves to the Senate, where it will be debated soon. Please email Missouri senators today and urge them to restore this funding.

This is my absolute favorite way to teach color mixing in preschool! I set it up as an independent station in our science center, but we first demo it together: the kids take just a tiny pinch of each Play-Doh color, mix it, then bag it up to take home. And no, letting them mix it here doesn’t mean they’ll always mix Play-Doh at our regular Play-Doh table—this is a separate, intentional activity.
