Meeples for Peeples

All set up at Archon St. Louis! Come play some Plinko or enter a raffle, take some of these games and help us get even more games to even more people!

It's official! We have a booth at Archon St. Louis this year! Stop by, say hi and play some Plinko to win yourself a FABULOUS prize!

We're at Game Nite today, selling off our heavier (some quite literally heavy) games that aren't great for donating. Come lighten our load, our backs hurt.

Have you been looking at your games thinking you need to clear some space for new games? Maybe ones that you don't play much anymore or that your kids have outgrown? Well, we have a solution for you!

Since taking over Meeples in November, our first main goal was to grow the number of applications we receive so that we can donate to more organizations around the country. We have the good news that we have been able to do that! We've received 16 applications since the beginning of July! 5 of which have been received in just the last 24 hours! We are beyond thrilled with the number of applications and the growth we are already seeing. And we are so grateful to everyone who helps spread our name to more organizations and people.

The downside is we are flying through certain categories of games and need help restocking those shelves. We are specifically looking for kids games (elementary aged games especially) and games that can be played in under an hour. Most of the applications we receive ask for one of those two criteria, if not both.

If you are interested in donating games to us you can visit the "Giving" section of our website for shipping and local drop offs, or message/email us to arrange another method.

We are so thankful to the board game community for the support you have shown us and helping us grow so that we can spread the joys of gaming to even more people!

Meeples for Peeples Building better communities, one board game at a time.

A huge thank you to Meeples for Peeples for their incredibly generous donation to the Voices of Flat River Pride Community Center! 🎲🌈

Thanks to their support, our community game library has grown tremendously, giving our visitors even more opportunities to gather, play, laugh, and connect. From strategy games and party games to cooperative adventures and games perfect for groups, there is now something for everyone.

We are incredibly grateful to Meeples for Peoples for believing in our mission and helping us create a welcoming space where our community can come together around the table.

Thank you for helping us build community, one game at a time! ❤️

Today we dropped off our donation to the Alaska school districts.
We shipped (approximately) 124 games!! Total of 232 pounds worth of games across 6 large boxes and two heavy duty totes. Shipping cost was a whopping $825.05!!
These should be arriving in Alaska by the end of the month and then they will distribute the games across the state to several school districts, including the Aleutian Islands!
We are so honored that we are able to be a part of this and help them bring gaming into so many kids and their families lives!

We're all set up at Pride St. Charles! Stop by for fun raffles or a chance to win some great games.

Updates!

Our final donation count from Geekway to the West was nearly 800 games! 🤯

Unloading and sorting/organizing has understandably taken us a bit of time as we continue to fill applications as well. We're up to 4 shipped out this month and just received number 5!

When we receive an application we go through all of the donations and load up a shelf with options that meet the requested age range, game length, player number and demographic, and difficulty levels. Then we pack as many as we can into a box to ship off, usually ranging from 20 - 30 games based on physical size. (Sometimes 2 boxes based on need and proximity.)

This month we've shipped a box to a middle school in Ohio, a college library in MS, and a community center on the other side of MO, and dropped off 2 boxes (including some oversized games that are more difficult/costly to ship) of games to a grade school in North County totalling 111 games right back out into the community!

Now we're prepping for Pride St. Charles this weekend where we'll be raffling off 3 party game bundles and giving away over 100 games as prizes for Plinko! If you're in the area come by and see us!

Sorting through most of our small games today to start figuring out a new organization system.

We are thrilled to announce that we will have a booth this year at Pride St. Charles, stop by and play some Plinko, enter our raffle, maybe win a prize, Saturday June 20th from 11-5. We will not be taking game donations at the event, but we will have things to sell to raise funds. And cash/digital donations are welcome as well!
