Diesel Dips Again, Down 0.8¢ to $3.871; Gas Drops 3¢ | Transport Topics Online Diesel slid less than a penny for a second straight week, declining 0.8 cent to $3.871 a gallon, while gasoline fell 3 cents in its third straight drop, the Department of Energy reported Dec. 16.

LMS employees were extremely generous with their food drive donations for local families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Special thanks to our onsite teams at BASF and Johnson & Johnson in New Jersey for donating 10 boxes of food to the Hands of Hope food pantry in Edison, N.J. These LMS Logistics teams had planned the donation prior to the storm, and carried through with their commitment despite challenging conditions. Volunteers at the pantry were especially grateful for the donation because their need for food has grown exponentially since the storm hit. Great job, team!

The election is over. Now what?

Obama says “best is yet to come,” but does that include transport? If President Barack Obama thought his re-election campaign was difficult, he will rapidly discover a seemingly overwhelming set of problems facing his second term that will impact the transportation world.
