From Hispanic Fest St. Louis and PrideFest to health fairs, community events and partner gatherings across the region, you may have spotted a few familiar Rx Outreach faces lately.

One of our favorite things about getting out into the community is that it truly takes our whole team. These photos include team members from Programs & Partnerships, our Distribution Center, our Patient Contact Center and more—all stepping away from their usual roles to meet people, share resources and help more of our neighbors learn about affordable medication options.

We’re grateful for every conversation, every new connection and every opportunity to show up in the communities we serve.

As health care costs dominate the national political conversation, KFF’s 2026 Women’s Health Survey shows the toll those costs are taking on women specifically: about one-third of women skipped tests (31%), didn’t fill prescriptions (27%), and cut spending on food and other basics to afford care (25%).

💊 Could you list every medication you take right now—including the dose?

Keeping an updated medication list is a simple habit that can be helpful at doctor visits, pharmacy consultations and other healthcare appointments.

Start with the basics: medication name, prescriber, dose and strength, how often you take it, and why you take it. And don’t forget over-the-counter medications, vitamins and supplements!

📱 Your list doesn’t have to be fancy. Keep it on your phone, write it down, or use whatever system makes it easy to update and access when you need it.

Caregivers: Consider keeping an updated list for anyone whose medications you help manage, too. 💙

This week, two families shared something remarkably similar with us. 💙

Both rely on Rx Outreach for transplant medications. And both told us what finding an affordable option has meant for their families.

Their stories are an important reminder that for someone who has received a transplant, access to medication doesn’t end when they leave the hospital. Staying on prescribed anti-rejection medications is a critical part of protecting their transplant for the long term—and affordability can be an important part of making that possible.

So we asked one of our pharmacists, Scott, to share more about transplant medication adherence, why staying on track matters, and what patients and caregivers should know.
