You don't need a healthcare degree to improve healthcare. You just need your experience. 💙

Have you ever:
• Struggled to afford a prescription?
• Felt overwhelmed by insurance or patient assistance programs?
• Wondered why getting the medications you need had to be so complicated?

If so, your experiences matter.

At Rx Outreach, we believe the people who have navigated these challenges are the experts we need to learn from. That's why we're creating our first Patient Advisory Board—to ensure patients and caregivers have a seat at the table as we shape our programs and services.

As a board member, you'll:
✔ Share your experiences directly with our leadership team
✔ Receive a $75 stipend for each meeting (three virtual meetings per year)
✔ Help improve the patient experience for others facing medication access challenges
✔ Connect with others who understand your journey

You don't need healthcare credentials. Your story is enough.

📅 Applications are open through August 31.

Meet the Team: Gabby 👋

When you call Rx Outreach, there's a team of compassionate pharmacists working behind the scenes to help you access the medications you need—and Gabby is one of them.

After transitioning from corporate retail pharmacy to Rx Outreach, Gabby found a place where her passion for patient care and medication access come together every day.

As she puts it:

"One of the most meaningful parts of my work is hearing from patients who are relieved to have found a pharmacy that makes their medications more affordable."

We're grateful for pharmacists like Gabby, who combine clinical expertise with genuine compassion to help patients navigate their healthcare journey.

💙 Thank you, Gabby, for everything you do to improve access to affordable medications and provide exceptional care to patients across the country.

Breast cancer treatment doesn't end when active treatment is over.

For many people, hormone therapy and other medications remain an important part of reducing the risk of recurrence—but staying on treatment isn't always easy. Side effects, cost, and the demands of everyday life can all become barriers.

In our latest blog, Rx Outreach Pharmacist-in-Charge George Katsiyiannis shares practical tips for managing medications during and after breast cancer treatment, along with strategies for staying on track and resources that may help make treatment more affordable.

Whether you're navigating your own diagnosis, caring for a loved one, or supporting a patient, we hope this resource provides helpful guidance and encouragement.

Please remember that every patient's treatment plan is unique. Always talk with your healthcare provider before making changes to your medications.

Building healthier communities takes partnership.

Yesterday, Jenn Encizo represented Rx Outreach at the Missouri Findhelp Social Care Summit in Kansas City, where healthcare providers, nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations gathered to explore new ways to strengthen Missouri's social care network.

We were especially excited to see Rx Outreach highlighted during the day's presentations as an organization helping connect people to affordable medications—an important part of improving health outcomes and supporting whole-person care.

Every new conversation and partnership helps us better serve patients, and we're grateful to be part of a growing network committed to making healthcare more accessible for everyone.

Thank you, Findhelp, for bringing together so many organizations working toward the same goal.

💙 Together, we're building stronger communities—one connection at a time.

A change in insurance turned Melissa’s medication from $0 for a three-month supply into $450 for just one month.

Then she found Rx Outreach.

Today, she pays $68 for a three-month supply of a medication she expects to take for the rest of her life.

This week we celebrate an important step forward for pharmacy services and patient access in Missouri and beyond.

At Rx Outreach, we believe that regardless of where someone lives, no one should go without life-saving medications because of a disaster or cost.

We are grateful to Governor Mike Kehoe for signing SB 878 into law and extend our sincere thanks to Senator Tracy McCreery, Representative Wendy Hausman, State Representative Bennie Cook, Representative Hruza, and former Senator Travis Fitzwater for their leadership and commitment to advancing legislation that strengthens pharmacy care.

We were proud to join the Missouri Pharmacy Association, healthcare organizations, and advocates from across the state in supporting this effort. Progress like this is possible when people come together with a shared commitment to improving access to care.
