Preventative maintenance is key. This Bernita machine was taken care of since it was purchased in 1993. Looks brand new. Runs like a dream. Little oil and back to work.

Down machine is a bad thing, can't make money. Had a client call today needing a repair so they could continue with their work. A small business can't afford to have equipment go down. Got it up and running and showed them what not to do

Very excited to see a client purchase a machine and begin the sewing journey. Recently serviced older machine but a great one to learn on.

Timing is always important, this machine has bad timing. The needle is at its lowest point and the wrong moment. A few adjustments and this machine is back up and running.

Even elf's Frank and Hank love big blankets.

Back fixing thing. Sergers not matter if they are industrial or domestic are hard to thread. The only issue here was improper threading and a little dirty. Threading hack, cut the thread above the machine, tie new thread and pull through with the presser foot raised.

Client made a whoopsie, had to put the bobbin back together.

Fun fact about Singer sewing machines. Singer would make sewing machines and license to other companies, like Kenmore. Which mean there are ample parts and a full metal framed machine will last a person a lifetime.
