From the first “10-4” of the day to the final destination, communication is key when you’re moving an entire crew down the road. 📡🛣️

So whether you’re headed to the next venue, checking in with the crew, or just letting everyone know you made it safely…

10-4! We’ve got you covered. 😎

🎤 What’s your favorite road-trip CB call?

National 10-4 Day celebrates the language of the open road, the golden age of CB radio, and the drivers who helped make “10-4” part of everyday conversation. Long before cell phones, GPS, and traffic alerts, CB radios helped motorists connect with other drivers nearby. Drivers used them to share information about accidents, weather, construction, traffic delays, and road safety. They also used them to build community across lonely miles.

“Touring will go on as long as there are new ears to listen to music. The desire for success, money, and creative fulfillment will remain constant, but for many musicians, it is an essential way of life.” As Keith Richards once said “It’s the explorer in us, the Christopher Columbus in all of us that wants to see around the corner. Is it round or is it flat?” 🎸🚌🩶

Dirty or clogged air filters can restrict airflow and make your engine work harder.

Regularly inspect and replace filters according to your coach manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule.

Clean filters = happy engines.

And a happy engine means one more thing you don't have to worry about when you're miles from home. 🚌🎸

Fun Fact Friday!

Did you know?! 🤔 Elvis Presley helped establish the idea of luxury transportation for entertainers. Elvis was known for traveling extensively during his career, and his touring transportation became increasingly elaborate as his fame grew. 🎸 His custom transportation reflected the growing expectation that major performers should travel in comfort and privacy. 🚌

About this bus: A custom-designed tour bus bought by Elvis Presley for his back-up band in 1976. Elvis's "Takin Care of Business" and lightning bolt motto is emblazoned on the bodywork. Originally purchased from J.D. Sumner, Elvis once gave it a joy ride, calming Sumner s nerves by promising to buy him another if it crashed, but as he took the bus out from Graceland and drove into the country, he got worried about how he was going to turn the bus around. So, he drove into a cornfield, drove back out again, and back home. 🌽 😂 🚌
