Ray Reed for State Representative
Candidate for Missouri House of Representatives District 83

I’ve been proud to stand up for St. Louis on the issues that matter most to us: Reproductive Rights, Union Rights, Gun Control, and Criminal Justice Reform.
I promise to keep fighting for us everyday I step foot in the capitol building.
Like many of you, I have watched with concern as Governor Parson prepares to allow the ex*****on of Marcellus Williams. This decision, made despite serious doubts surrounding the case and credible questions about his guilt, flies in the face of the values of justice and fairness that we should all hold dear.
The death penalty is irreversible. Once carried out, there is no going back. We cannot afford to make mistakes when a human life is on the line. The people of Missouri should not have to live with the weight of knowing that their tax dollars funded the murder of an innocent man.
In a moment like this, we must pause and reflect on who we are and what we stand for. This is not about politics, it’s about morality. It’s about doing what’s right—not what’s convenient or politically expedient. I join the call on the governor to put a stop to this ex*****on. Missouri can and must do better.
Let us stand for justice, for fairness, and for the sanctity of human life. And let us do so not only in words but in deeds. The future of Missouri depends on it.

Since I entered Missouri government almost a decade ago, I’ve always wanted to support the working class— Unions built this country and I’ll always have their backs in the House of Representatives.
Union busting is disgusting. Happy Labor Day!

Let my election to the Missouri State Legislature be proof that you don’t have to fit into anybody’s box of what it means to be young, gifted, and black.
We’ve got a lot of work to do and I’m ready.

Happy Birthday to my brother Justin Jones. Honored to join you in the fight taking place in legislatures across the country to end gun violence.

I woke up this morning a Gen-Z, Democratic Nominee.
Ready to take the voices of our community with me to the capitol building fighting for teachers, students, nurses, unions, and everyone else who could use some breathing room.

With all the votes counted, I’ll be headed to the House of Representatives in January. Let’s go!

Tomorrow, Missouri primary voters will go to the polls to send me to the Missouri legislature.
Let me be as clear as I possibly can be, my office will essentially be a union hall in the capitol building. ✊🏾

I’ve been running for office for the last three years. Along the way, I’ve met tens of thousands of amazing folks in our communities.
One week from today, we go to the polls to send a champion of the working class to the capitol building— I’ve never been more ready 🗳️
