Some projects can't be rushed.
When W.W. Clyde & Co. crews built Meeks Cabin Dam in Wyoming in the early 70s, the work took place at nearly 8,000 feet elevation, where harsh winters and a short construction season demanded patience, precision, and perseverance.
Over eight seasons, crews moved more than six million cubic yards of material, building the dam one careful lift at a time.
The project stands as a reminder that excellence isn't measured by speed. It's measured by the commitment to do the job right, even when the work is difficult and the conditions are demanding.
For 100 years, that commitment has guided W.W. Clyde—showing up, taking pride in the work, and always giving a full measure.

Some of the strongest people you know may be fighting battles you cannot see.
Mental Health Awareness Month may be behind us, but supporting the people around us is something that matters every day of the year.
The construction industry asks a lot from individuals, both on and off the jobsite. That is why strong crews do more than work together. They look out for one another.
If someone around you seems off, check in. If you are struggling, talk to someone.
Looking out for people is part of the job.
Because no project is more important than the people behind it.
Built on 100 years of hard work. Designed for the next 100.
A lot has changed over the last 100 years, but our success has always started with the people behind the work.
The new Spanish Fork shop represents an exciting step forward and creates more room for our teams, the projects ahead, and the opportunities that come with them.
Have you checked it out yet?
This industry moves fast.
Conditions change. Plans adjust. Communication matters just as much as ex*****on, and the crews that succeed know how to adapt when the work shifts.
Heavy civil pushes people to think, respond, lead, and grow faster than they expected.
Over time, that pressure builds strong teams, and project partners you can trust.

Who thrives at W.W. Clyde & Co.?
Usually the people who like solving problems, working with strong teams, innovating in the office and in the field, and taking pride in work that lasts long after the job is done.
The people who do well here are curious, dependable, competitive, and not afraid to take ownership early.
If that sounds like you, we’re hiring across multiple teams and divisions: https://wwclyde.net/careers/

This week, we officially opened the doors to the new W.W. Clyde & Co. Spanish Fork Shop, a meaningful milestone during our 100th year in business.
For the past century, our Springville shop served as home base for generations of W.W. Clyde employees and projects. Just a few miles down the road, this new facility represents the next chapter for our company and our people — built to support the work ahead and the teams carrying our legacy forward.
We were grateful to celebrate alongside current team members, retired employees, past leadership, local community leaders, board members, and the next generation of the Clyde family. Seeing so many people connected through the history of this company was a meaningful reminder that W.W. Clyde has always been about more than construction. It has always been about people.
“Honoring Our Legacy, Building Our Future” was more than the theme of the event. It reflects the responsibility we feel to honor those who came before us while continuing to build something lasting for future generations.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special and to the communities, employees, and partners who have made 100 years possible.
Some people talk about building a legacy.
Others wake up before sunrise and actually build it.
