The Maine Library Association, Maine State Library, and all Maine libraries are teaming up for a statewide Library Passport Contest starting September 1st and running through the end of the year. All you need to do is visit at least one library in each of the sixteen counties across Maine and collect either stamps or signatures to show you’ve been there to be entered to win some great prizes. Go forth and explore!

You can find full contest details and download a library passport brochure at mainelibraries.org/passport or stop by the library today. It's a perfect time to get a library card if you don't have one yet!

Have you lost a pet? Join Merilee Perkins & Robin Bibber from the Sanford-Springvale YMCA on October 8 @ 2:00 for a community workshop that builds human connection through creativity, strengthening the positive bond between people through their beloved pets.
